Critically acclaimed by Washington Post music critic Tim Page and complimented by entertainer Harry Connick Jr, David is a veteran of the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland where he played original compositions in a unique world music ensemble which opened for the Brecker Brothers, Tito Puente and the Mingus Dynasty.

"David has a flare for making each event his own.  He made our wedding a completely unique experience with his remarkable solo violin performance and great organist and pianist skills.  Not many people are willing to take the time to help with every selection and layout, and he did.  David is talented and his music is truly beautiful."  - Tracey H, Bride, Newington, CT

"David is blessed with a gift of creating beautiful music. David shared his expertise in helping us select each musical piece for our wedding ceremony. Our musical selection was exquisitely rendered using the violin, electronic piano and organ. Thank you David for helping make our wedding ceremony truly elegant and unforgettable." - Larissa R, Bride, Newington, CT

"David Dyson's deep, rich and expressive sound adds color and beauty wherever he plays, whether in the concert hall or in a church setting. His versatility in style is impressive and enables him to play both serious violin repertoire and lighter sounds with ease. David is truly a gem in the Connecticut music scene." - Father David C., Director of Music, Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center

"Thank you so much for playing at our wedding this past month! My guests spoke of how much they enjoyed the prelude music and I was amazed at how smooth the transitions were between the mother, bridesmaids and bride processions!! I absolutely loved the addition of "Water is Wide" during the lighting of the unity candle on the violin." - Kristin and Barry, Old Saybrook CT

"I hired David to accompany three vocalists and a keyboardist for my outdoor wedding ceremony on Cape Cod this October. Not only was David willing to play during his assigned prelude wedding music, but he gladly reviewed the other music selections and joined them as well. He is extremely professional and unbelievably talented. Our ceremony music wouldn't have been as close to sounding as glorious as it did, had we not been fortunate enough to hired David Dyson!" - Heather A.. Orleans, MA

Your violin was the perfect addition to our beach wedding ceremony. When I arrived and heard the music as I approached the beach, I was thrilled with how beautiful it sounded. I really appreciate all of your suggestions, being a music novice myself. The music was absolutely lovely. Thanks again! - Audra G. Dennis, MA

"David’s music was truly a highlight of our wedding day.  After listening to our ideas, David presented selections that perfectly complimented our taste and expectations of how the day should be.  Arriving early for our ceremony, David played the church's magnificent pipe organ, as well as the piano and violin.  During the reception, he paid tribute to our ethnic backgrounds by playing traditional Irish and Chinese music which delighted all guests.  David's professionalism and music was a significant contribution to a wonderful day. " - Patrick Collins, Providence, Rhode Island
